Mission

The mission of the USF System Women in Leadership and Philanthropy program is to engage and educate visionary leaders and philanthropists to make a difference for women throughout the USF System and the community.

The Women in Leadership & Philanthropy (WLP) program at USF is focused on engaging and educating its members in support of women and women's initiatives throughout the USF System and in our communities.

WLP was formed in 2005 with the leadership of USF System President Judy Genshaft and Tampa Bay's leading philanthropists, business professionals and entrepreneurs to support a common purpose: promoting the educational and research endeavors of women throughout the university system. Members of WLP have opportunities to create bonds with students, faculty and each other and, in the process, help develop the next generation of women leaders.

We invite you to join other WLP members who are leaders and philanthropists in their own right and who are committed to enhancing opportunities for women throughout the USF System. Your particular passion and experience are sure to improve our ability to fulfill our mission and to contribute to our local, national and global communities. Together, we can strengthen opportunities for women and in doing so, make Tampa Bay a better place to live and work.
