Students Urged to Participate in Sustainability Conferences
TAMPA, Fla. (Sept. 10, 2009) -- Graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to submit abstracts for posters to be presented at the 4th Campus and Community Sustainability Conference on Oct. 8 and 9 and the Going Green Tampa Bay Expo on Oct. 10, both at the Marshall Student Center.
Show USF and Florida your research, class project, or activity that is related to sustainability. There will be awards for best student presentations. Deadline for abstract submission is September 25.
USF is hosting the Campus and Community Sustainability Conference for the first time since this high-profile statewide conference began. The conference attracts local, state and national leaders in sustainability efforts from across a variety of industries in Florida and key figures in the movement to incorporate sustainability practices into all aspects of a community.
Student participants must be present at their posters from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 10.
