TAMPA, Fla. (Aug. 19, 2009) – Climate change won’t just mean stresses on the environment, but experts warn resulting natural disasters and famines could bring about political instability and national security threats.

Join three former senators - John Warner of Virginia and Connie Mack and Bob Graham of Florida - along with Vice Admiral Dennis McGinn and USF professor Tom Crisman, in a public discussion sponsored by the Pew Project on National Security, Energy and Climate on Monday, Aug. 31 at 3 p.m. at USF’s C.W. Bill Young Hall.

The forum is open to the public and admission is free, but seating is limited. To RSVP, email TampaAug31@gmail.com.
