Foreign National RightStart@USF Training Offered
TAMPA, Fla. (July 2, 2009) -- International Services and Human Resources are offering a training session for staff members responsible for hiring foreign nationals Thursday, July 16 from 10 to 11 a.m. in SVC 2070.
The presentation will provide an overview on the following topics:
definition of Non-Resident Alien (NRA)
how to identify that the employee is an NRA
RightStart
basic immigration documents
common visas eligible to work
visas not eligible to work
ramifications of hiring employees with no work authorization documents
