Email article to a friendPrint Article

TAMPA, Fla. (June 26, 2009) -- Karen A. Holbrook, vice president for Research & Innovation, has announced a new USF system program for faculty: Research Administration Faculty Fellows (RAFF).

"RAFFs will be recruited into the Office of Research & Innovation as temporary, part-time research administrators to enhance communication and partnerships as we compete for stimulus funding and other multidisciplinary opportunities," Holbrook stated. "The Office of Research & Innovation believes there is a need to provide outreach to and connection with the faculty and this is best done with people who already understand the university, its goals and priorities, its areas of research excellence and strength, and the direction in which the university desires to grow."

The deadline for applications is July 20, 2009. To learn more about the program, click here.
