Search Committee Meeting Notices Now Posted on the Web
TAMPA, Fla. (June 19, 2009) -- Beginning June 19, 2009, search committee meeting notices will be posted on the new Search Committee Meeting Notices Calendar.
Previously, notices were posted on the USFNEWS and USFTALK listservs, where they could be viewed only by individuals with a USF email address. By moving the notices to the Web site calendar, they will be globally accessible.
During the recruiting process, search committees must be formed when recruiting for faculty or director level positions and above. When search committee meetings are scheduled, Florida law requires reasonable notice of the meeting’s time and place--typically three days notice--and information on requesting disability accommodation.
To view the new calendar, go to the USF home page, and click on the Calendars link in the header. From there, select Search Committee Meeting Notices.
For questions about recruiting, responsibilities of search committees, or other HR issues, contact your Service Center. For assistance with the new calendar, contact Chuck Welsh or Chris Sharp in HR at (813) 974-2970.
