Rose Featured on 96.5's Women Matters
TAMPA, Fla. (June 11, 2009) – Jane Rose, associate professor in the College of Arts & Sciences at USF Sarasota-Manatee, will be interviewed on 96.5's Women Matters Tuesday, June 16 at 6 p.m.
Rose will discuss the collaboration of Girls, Inc. of Sarasota County, the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and USF Sarasota-Manatee.
The goal of the initiative is to build the girls’ confidence and provide them with the resources they need to achieve educational and economic success especially in the STEM fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
