New Anti-Virus Software
TAMPA, Fla. (June 4, 2009) -- Symantec Endpoint Protection, an anti-virus and anti-spyware software, is now available FREE OF CHARGE to all current USF faculty and staff to better protect your work and home Windows computers. (Mac and Linux versions coming soon.)
The suite combines Symantec Anti-Virus software with advanced threat prevention to deliver unmatched defense against malware for laptops, desktops, and servers.
Information Technology will install the software on your work computer in the coming weeks. Do not attempt to install the suite yourself.

Please note: If you’ve downloaded USF McAfee Virus protection, be sure to remove it before installing the new Symantec software. In addition, please remove any USF downloaded McAfee products from your computer by July 15, as the license will have expired.
