On-Campus Pharmacies Accept More Insurance Carriers
TAMPA, Fla. (May 22, 2009 ) -- The Bulls Country Pharmacy, located on the first floor of the Marshall Student Center, has just been accepted as a preferred provider for prescription services by United Healthcare, and by Caremark / Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. The pharmacy also accepts AvMed and Capital Health insurance.
Pharmacy employees are committed to offering the lowest prices possible for all prescriptions. They will transfer a prescription in from any other pharmacy, and refills can be called in or submitted online.
The pharmacy is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and carries a variety of over-the-counter medications, vitamins, first aid supplies, toiletries and nutritional snack foods. The pharmacy accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express and Bull Bucks, but does not accept cash.

In addition, the Sweetbay Pharmacy, located conveniently on campus in the Morsani Center for Advanced Health Care, accepts AvMed, Capital Health Insurance, United Healthcare, Caremark / Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. The pharmacy is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and can be reached at (813) 978-8163.
The Sweetbay Pharmacy fills prescriptions and offers many convenience store items. USF faculty and staff may use their Sweetbay Pharmacy receipts to enter a weekly $5 gift card drawing for USF employees only.
