TAMPA, Fla. (May 12, 2009) -- What do museums do behind closed doors? Find out during Museum at Work, hosted by the USF Contemporary Art Museum May 18 – July 25, during regular museum hours Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Experience the process of photographing and documenting artworks in the collection with Peter Foe, curator of the collection. The East Gallery will be set up as a working studio for documentation of several hundred artworks (focusing on works on paper – framed and unframed) and draw on a bevy of interns and volunteers to install work, annotate and create records in the database. This project will allow CAM to make additions to its collection information currently on its Web site.
