Renshler Joins Management Department Faculty
TAMPA, Fla. (May 7, 2009) -- Kevin Renshler, formerly of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will join the management department as an instructor in the College of Business in the summer 2009.
Renshler has taught governance and policy, finance and budgeting, organizational behavior and theory, and strategic management. His current research interests include how the management-stakeholder relationship influences the allocation of organizational resources and the firm's attempt to establish and sustain a competitive advantage and why organizations become isomorphic over time.
Renshler earned a Ph.D. and his bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University, and a master’s degree at Miami University (Ohio). He is expected to complete a post-doctorate at University of Florida this summer.
