TAMPA, Fla. (April 17, 2009) – All USF faculty and staff are encouraged to register their children to attend USF's first “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” Thursday, April 23.

The event will provide children (ages 8 - 18) the opportunity to explore a myriad of career options available in a university setting.

After the kickoff event with prominent USF personnel, the children will spend the day observing and interacting with USF professionals at their work sites followed by tours, breakout groups, workshops and entertaining interactive sessions. Children will also have an opportunity to spend time learning more about their parents’ careers through job shadowing.

Each child will receive a special event t-shirt, along with refreshments and a pizza lunch. There’ll even be a visit from Rocky the Bull.

The event starts at 8 a.m. in the Marshall Student Center Ballroom. For more information about the event, click here.

Register your child today.
